AIMS Electrical
Contractors are inspected regularly to confirm that they meet the required national standards. They issue certificates as evidence that their work complies with these standards. The NICEIC also operates a Complaints Procedure and Guarantee of Standards Scheme.
AIMS Electrical is a member of the NICEIC, providing the reassurance of a comprehensive guarantee for all our work. Work is only carried out by qualified engineers and our stringent recruitment policies ensure we provide a thoroughly professional service to our customers.
Customers can have the peace of mind that all works carried out will give:
- Acceptance of Building Compliance Certificates by local authorities without costly Building Control inspection fees
- Confidence that the work performed is in compliance with the Building Regulations
- Peace of mind, as NICEIC has an independent Complaint sProcedure and Insurance Backed Warranty Scheme if any problems should arise
17th Edition BS 7671:2008
The 17th Edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2008) was published in January 2008, and came into effect 1 July 2008.
From then on all commercial, domestic and industrial wiring installations must be designed, constructed, inspected, tested and certificated to meet the requirements of BS 7671: 2008.

Insurance Backed Warranty
AIMS Electrical Ltd is covered by the NICEIC Insurance backed warranty. This covers work undertaken by contractors registered to the NICEIC Schemes that is notifiable to Building Control.
The financial limit placed on the remedial work is £25,000 in respect of any one installation per period of insurance and the warranty is valid for a period of six years from the date of completion of the original work. AIMS Electrical Ltd is also covered by a £5 million public liability insurance policy.
